Projection & Display Solutions for Professional Events in Washington DC
Clear, reliable visuals decide whether a room follows your content or loses it. TriVision Event Production designs and deploys projection systems, presenter monitors, and distributed displays for corporate, government, and organizational events across Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland. Every display is specified against the real conditions of the venue - ambient light, throw distance, ceiling height, sightlines, and camera requirements - then tested and integrated into the full production before doors open. Looking for a tiled LED wall with no visible bezels instead? That is a separate service: see our LED video wall rental page.
Display Capabilities
Four display disciplines, one accountable team. Each system is operated by TriVision technicians and tied into audio, lighting, and show control.
SVC 01Projection Systems & Large-Format Screens
High-lumen projectors and properly sized screens for ballrooms, auditoriums, and general sessions. We calculate screen size from room depth and seating plan, match projector brightness to ambient light, and rig front or rear projection to keep sightlines clean.
SVC 02Confidence & Presenter Monitors
Downstage confidence monitors, speaker timers, and presenter displays positioned for keynotes, panels, and moderators - so speakers see notes, slides, and cues without turning their back on the audience.
SVC 03Projection Mapping & Immersive Surfaces
Environmental projection and mapped content on scenic elements, architecture, and stage surfaces for openers, reveals, and brand moments - designed with our staging and scenic team so content and structure are built together.
SVC 04Digital Signage & Wayfinding Displays
Distributed monitors for agendas, room schedules, sponsor recognition, and directional wayfinding across lobbies, foyers, and breakout corridors - centrally managed so content updates everywhere at once.
SVC 05Breakout, Overflow & Multi-Room Screens
Signal distribution to breakout rooms, overflow spaces, and lobby screens so every attendee sees the same program at the same time, with independent local playback where the agenda requires it.

How We Design and Deliver Your Display System
The same disciplined process behind 1,000+ events delivered across the DMV.
We assess ambient light, viewing distances, ceiling height, rigging points, and power - on a site visit or from venue documentation. Familiar DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland venues mean fewer surprises on load-in day.
We specify the right technology for each space - projection, monitors, or signage - with screen sizes, projector brightness, and signal paths documented for your review and procurement.
Whenever possible, systems are built and tested at our Chantilly, VA production facility before they ship - content playback, switching, and redundancy checked in advance.
TriVision technicians handle load-in, calibration, rehearsal, and live operation, integrated with audio, lighting, and show calling from setup through strike.
Technical Capabilities
Professional display infrastructure, engineered and operated in-house.
High-Lumen Projection
Projectors matched to room size and ambient light, with front and rear projection options and properly sized fast-fold and tensioned screens.
Broadcast-Grade Signal Distribution
Reliable video switching, scaling, and distribution to every screen in the venue - main stage, breakouts, overflow, and signage - from one control position.
Presenter Support Systems
Confidence monitors, cue displays, and speaker timers coordinated with show management so presenters always know where they are in the run of show.
Hybrid & Recording Ready
Display layouts and refresh-safe sources selected for on-camera use, feeding livestream and recording workflows without moiré or flicker.
Projection or LED Wall - Which Does Your Event Need?
Projection excels in controlled-light ballrooms and auditoriums, for very large images at lower cost per square foot, and where rigging or floor space rules out panel walls. LED video walls win in bright rooms, on camera, and as scenic set pieces. We supply both in-house, so our recommendation is based on your venue and content - not on what we have on the shelf. If your event calls for a bezel-free LED panel wall, start with our dedicated LED video wall rental service; for everything else on screens, you are in the right place.

Questions planners ask us
How do you decide between projection and an LED video wall?
We evaluate five factors: ambient light, viewing distance, content type, camera requirements, and budget. Projection is typically the better value in controlled-light ballrooms and auditoriums where very large images are needed. LED video walls outperform projection in bright rooms, on camera for hybrid events, and as scenic backdrops. Because TriVision provides both in-house across the DC area, the recommendation follows your venue and program - not equipment availability.
What are confidence monitors and do I need them?
Confidence monitors are downstage displays that show presenters their slides, notes, or a countdown timer without turning away from the audience. For keynotes, panels, and any program with a strict run of show, they measurably reduce on-stage friction - fewer glances backstage, cleaner transitions, better pacing. We position and operate them as part of the full production, coordinated with show calling and speaker support.
Can you run screens in multiple rooms across a venue?
Yes. We design distributed display systems that carry the main-stage program to breakout rooms, overflow spaces, and lobby screens simultaneously, with independent local playback where the agenda splits. Signal distribution, switching, and scaling are managed from one control position, so every screen in a DC hotel, conference center, or government venue stays in sync throughout the event.
Do you test projection and display systems before event day?
Whenever possible, yes. Systems are built and tested at our Chantilly, Virginia production facility before they ship - content playback, switching paths, and backup sources are verified in advance. On site, we calibrate every projector and monitor during load-in and run a full technical rehearsal before doors, which is how we reduce risk on high-visibility corporate and government events.
Are your displays suitable for livestreaming and hybrid events?
Yes. We select refresh-safe sources and screen layouts that read cleanly on camera, avoiding the flicker and moiré that undermine recordings. Display feeds are coordinated with our camera, switching, and livestream workflow so in-room and remote audiences see the same program. For a fully produced remote experience, pair displays with our hybrid event production service.
What areas do you serve for projection and display services?
We provide projection, monitor, and digital signage solutions throughout Washington DC, Northern Virginia, and Maryland from our Chantilly, VA headquarters. That includes hotel ballrooms, convention and conference centers, government and agency facilities, association venues, and corporate campuses across the DMV. Local venue familiarity - load-in routes, rigging, power - is part of what our 30+ years in the region buys you.
