Hybrid Event Production in Washington DC
One program, two first-class audiences: broadcast-grade livestream production and in-room AV from a single in-house team - cameras, graphics, remote presenters, and the contingency planning that keeps the stream up.
When a hybrid event fails, it fails the remote audience first - a produced show in the room, a static camera for everyone else. TriVision Event Production produces hybrid events in Washington DC as one program for two audiences: in-house teams deliver multi-camera video, IMAG, broadcast graphics, platform integration, remote presenter management, and livestreaming on broadcast-grade infrastructure, alongside the audio, LED, lighting, and staging serving the in-person audience. Headquartered in Chantilly, VA, TriVision has delivered 1,000+ events over 30+ years, including company-wide broadcasts and livestreams reviewed at 5.0 stars on Google.
One Program, Two First-Class Audiences
Communications teams, associations, and agencies across Washington DC hire TriVision Event Production for one specific kind of consistency: the room and the broadcast produced by a single 100% in-house team. Hybrid events fail in a predictable way - the room gets a produced show and the remote audience gets a static camera at the back of it. We treat the stream as its own broadcast: directed cameras, a dedicated program mix, graphics and lower thirds, and remote presenters folded into the same run of show as the stage. And because the in-room production and the broadcast come from one team, nothing is lost in a vendor handoff - the audio the ballroom hears and the audio the stream hears are mixed by the same crew, on the same cue structure.
Hybrid & Livestream Capabilities
Every capability below is delivered in-house - the broadcast is not subcontracted to a second company your planner has to coordinate.
SVC 01Multi-camera video & IMAG
Directed broadcast cameras feeding the stream, the in-room screens, and the recording from one switched program.
SVC 02Livestream & webcast delivery
Encoding and delivery to Zoom, Teams, YouTube, or your webcast platform - with the stream monitored end to end by a dedicated operator.
SVC 03Remote presenter integration
Remote speakers teched in rehearsal, brought into the program with clean audio and framing, and cued like anyone on stage.
SVC 04Broadcast graphics & titles
Lower thirds, speaker titles, sponsor loops, and program graphics built for the stream, not just the ballroom screens.
SVC 05Recording & post-event deliverables
Full program recordings and per-session captures handed off for your portal, internal comms, or content program.
SVC 06In-room production, integrated
The audio, LED walls, lighting, and staging serving the live audience - designed camera-ready so the room and the broadcast share one look.
Broadcast Infrastructure with Contingency Built In
A hybrid program is a live broadcast, and we plan it like one - the contingency layer is part of the design, not an upsell.
Broadcast-grade video systems
Professional cameras, switching, and processing - the same infrastructure behind our IMAG and recording work, run by in-house operators.
Redundant stream paths
Backup encoders and failover delivery planned per program, so a single point of failure doesn't take the remote audience offline.
Venue connectivity, verified
We specify dedicated, hardwired upload connectivity - never shared venue Wi-Fi - and verify it with your venue during the site advance.
Dedicated stream monitoring
An operator watches the outbound program end to end - what the remote audience actually sees and hears - for the full event.
How a Hybrid Production Comes Together
The broadcast is planned with the event, not bolted onto it.
We align on audiences, agenda, and the platform your remote attendees will use - and what the recording needs to become afterward.
Site assessment covering camera positions, lighting for broadcast, and the venue's dedicated network connectivity - confirmed before the plan is final.
One run of show covering stage and stream; remote presenters teched and rehearsed on the actual platform before show day.
Directed cameras, a dedicated program mix for the stream, graphics on cue, and monitored delivery - while the same team runs the room.
Program and session recordings delivered, stream analytics reviewed where the platform provides them, and lessons captured.
Hybrid Programs We Produce
Any program with an audience that couldn't be in the room - produced so they don't feel like they missed it.

General sessions and selected breakouts streamed with full graphics, plus per-session recordings for attendees afterward.

From Live Event to Lasting Content
A hybrid event is the best content shoot your organization will run all year - if it's captured that way. Every TriVision hybrid production hands off clean program and session recordings, and because our sister company TriVision Studios is a full video production house, the same footage can become edited session libraries, recap films, and social content without briefing a new vendor from zero. Tell us during planning what the recording needs to become, and we'll capture for the edit - camera coverage, clean feeds, and graphics versions included.
Budgeting and recurring formats
For numbers first, the walks through the published tiers. Quarterly town halls and all-hands - the most common recurring hybrid format - have a dedicated page: town hall production.

Questions planners ask us
What is hybrid event production?
Hybrid event production delivers one program to two audiences at once: the people in the room and the people watching remotely. Done properly, it means directed multi-camera video, a dedicated audio mix for the stream, broadcast graphics, remote presenters integrated into the run of show, and monitored delivery to your platform - alongside the in-room AV. TriVision produces both halves with one 100% in-house team in Washington DC, so the room and the broadcast share one cue structure.
How much does hybrid event production cost in Washington DC?
The stream side of the budget is driven by camera count and direction, graphics scope, remote presenter count, platform complexity, rehearsal time, and the redundancy level the program warrants - backup encoders and failover paths add cost and remove risk. The in-room side scales like any production. A streamed town hall and a three-day hybrid conference are very different budgets; TriVision itemizes both halves in one proposal. Call 703.608.9680 with your agenda.
What internet connection does our venue need for a livestream?
A dedicated, hardwired upload connection reserved for the broadcast - not the shared attendee Wi-Fi, which is the most common cause of failed streams. The bandwidth we specify depends on your stream's resolution and redundancy plan, so we confirm the exact requirement with your venue's IT or network provider during the site advance, and we plan backup encoding and failover delivery per program. If the venue's connectivity is genuinely marginal, we tell you before show day, not during it.
Can remote presenters join our event live?
Yes. Remote speakers are teched in rehearsal on the actual platform - camera framing, lighting, audio, and slide handling checked in advance - then brought into the live program and cued exactly like presenters on stage. Panels can mix in-room and remote participants, with the moderator seeing and hearing remote panelists cleanly. The difference between a remote segment that flows and one that stumbles is almost entirely the rehearsal, so we require one.
Which platforms can you stream to?
We deliver to the platforms organizations already use - Zoom and Zoom Webinars, Microsoft Teams, YouTube, and dedicated webcast or event platforms - and we can feed multiple destinations simultaneously when a program needs both an internal and a public stream. Platform selection happens in the first planning conversation: registration, access control, and Q&A tools differ by platform, and the right answer depends on your audience, not our preference.
Do we get a recording of the event?
Yes. Every hybrid production includes program recordings handed off after the event, with per-session captures for conferences and trainings. Tell us during planning what the footage needs to become - a member-portal library, internal comms clips, a recap film - and we capture with the edit in mind. For post-production, our sister company TriVision Studios turns event footage into finished video content, so the whole pipeline stays inside one organization.
